I have had a love of cats my whole life. I started rescuing them when I was a little girl and cannot remember a childhood memory that didn't involve some sort of rescued cat(s).
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 and while working to pay back my student loans, discovered the Lone Star College Veterinary Technician certification program. I became a certified RVT and of course took in more rescues and had my share of foster failures during my 13 years as a technician.
I now work as a project manager, change management and training specialist. While I find this work fulfilling and love supporting organizations through transformational change, I wanted to do more to save and support these furry felines I love so very much. I wanted to create something that would make an impact not only on the lives of the fur babies we save but the community and for cat rescue overall.
Thus, Biscuits Cat Haven was born. What once was a distance idea and dream, has now become a reality! Founded in March 2023, I could not be prouder nor more grateful for all we have been able to accomplish. We have been able to make a difference and impact because of all your support and belief in what we are doing and who we are serving.
Thank you for helping to make this dream a reality.
Thank you for continuing to believe in our mission and vision.
Thank you for supporting us and helping us achieve our goals.
Thank you for your involvement in making a difference, one cat at a time.
My family is involved in our rescue efforts as well.
I LOVE social rehabilitation. Helping a wide-eyed, scared fluff turn into a purring, playful pal is the best kind of magic.
I love how every kitty has their own vibe. Some are bold, some are shy, some are total goofballs — and I love them all!

I officially joined the team in early 2025, and I have been having a blast continuing the cat rescue work that means so much to me closer to home, right here in Tomball, Texas, where I have lived for almost my entire life.
In 2022, I entered the non-profit animal rescue world when I began volunteering at, and soon after working for, a sanctuary cat rescue located in Houston. I’m constantly telling friends, family, and new connections how much of a life changing choice this would end up being for me, as I quickly realized how deeply this mission resonated with me, and how I see myself working towards it for years and years to come.
I love learning about cats, they are such interesting animals and there's so much to know!
I started animal rescue work because of my mom!
I've helped pair over 500 cats for adoption, and I hope I can help with thousands more.

Biscuits was a very special fur family member for which the nonprofit is named. In all we do, we honor his legacy and how truly special he was!
To our beloved Biscuits…thank you for choosing us to be your family, letting us love you, loving us in return, for all the wonderful memories and super awesome snuggles and purr sessions. Your kitten therapy is and will always be the best!! For every rescue, adoption, social rehabilitation, TNR, relocation effort, and work we do, we not only think of you, but honor you each and every time.
We love you….then, now, always!!
Best lap warmer and snuggler.
Supervisor of every activity in the household.
LOVED everyone and all visitors; He always wanted to be in the middle of all the action.
