spaying/neutering, & microchipping.
**The adoption fee is nonrefundable and due at time of adoption.
Every kitty in our care will be fully vetted before going home - deworming, flea meds, received all vaccines (FVRCP, FeLV, Rabies), spayed/neutered, & microchipped. A copy of their medical records will be provided. (Unless special circumstances apply.)
Kittens/cats may go home the same day as long as they are fully vetted (deworming, flea meds, received all vaccines [FVRCP, FeLV, Rabies], spayed/neutered, & microchipped).
Be sure to bring a carrier (not a bag, pillow case, blanket, etc.) to take your fur baby home in. There are no exceptions to this! All kittens/cats must have secure and safe carriers for transportation. This is for their safety and yours.

It is important to know your new fur friend needs time to adjust and acclimate to your home. The best way to help them do so is to start them out in a small room so they feel comfortable, safe and can get used to the sounds and smell of their new surroundings.
You will want to spend time with them in this new space so they get comfortable with you and learn they are safe with you. This is of utmost importance for the bonding process.
We will discuss this in more detail prior to adoption.
It is important to know your new fur friend needs time to adjust and acclimate to each other. Bonding does not occur overnight and introducing cats to cats is a different process than cats to dogs.
You will need to ensure you have the time, patience and persistence needed to successfully support your new family acclimating to and being safe with one another.
We will discuss this in more detail prior to adoption.
We understand possible unseen difficulties that might result in needing to return your new kitty. We will ALWAYS welcome back any kitty adopted from our organization. Biscuits Cat Haven will always be a home for them to return to. Please do not hesitate to contact us if this difficult situation arises.
Please email us at [email protected] and include the cat’s name (and former rescue name if you know it) and explain your situation. We will reach out to you so we can discuss this further and come up with possible solutions.
TNR stands for “Trap, Neuter, Release” and is a humane method used when referring to the management and care of stray or feral outdoor cats.
When it comes to strays or feral cats, overpopulation is a huge issue, and they can also have potentially harmful interactions with humans if they are not vaccinated and fixed.
To help this, TNR programs are created, where rescuers will trap the cats, get them vaccinated and fixed, then release them back to their outdoor home.
Cats are actually great for the environment, helping with rodent and unwanted critter control, and when fixed and vaccinated, prove to be very beneficial and rewarding when they are properly cared for.
If you find stray cats in your community, there are several ways you can help.
First, provide food, water, and shelter to keep them safe and healthy.
If the cat seems friendly, check for a collar or tag and have them scanned for a microchip at a vet clinic or shelter to try to locate their owner.
If they are feral and unapproachable, consider reaching out to a local trap-neuter-return (TNR) program to help prevent overpopulation. Finally, contact a local rescue organization, like us, for advice or assistance. Every small effort can make a big difference in the lives of stray cats!
Our feline friends are always changing!
Luna & Cleo must be adopted together. They are a super bonded pair and are sisters.Luna is a sweet, snuggle bug, purr machine, who loves to play! She can be a bit timid in the beginning and takes some time to warm up to people, but she is great with other cats and older kids. She likes to talk and and is quite the conversationalist.

This sweetheart came to us unexpectedly. She was dumped and we took her in. Initially she didn't know what toys, other cats, cat trees or playing was. She had never been exposed to any of this. Over time she has come out of her shell and has the cutest personality. She is such a love!! She now loves to play, climb the cat trees, play with the other cats, greets us when we come home, loves to snuggle, sit on your shoulder, purr and more. She will make a wonderful addition to your family.
